Orly "Glowstick"

The weather here in California is as stubborn as always. It looked like we were going to start Autumn a few weeks ago, but we seem to have a few more hot summer days left. Yesterday was even mentioned as the hottest day of the year. While I'm looking forward to the change in weather, I will miss the longer summer days, and the fun, bright colors that come with it.

So today's nail of the day will probably be the last neon I will be sporting til next summer. Orly's "Glowstick" is a fluorescent yellow with a hint of green that closely resembles the color of your classic yellow highlighter.

Orly "Glowstick" is such a fun color for summer. I love that it perfectly matches the yellow highlighter color. A must-have shade for summer.

However, the formula was rather frustrating to apply. Even after four coats the polish showed signs of streaking. You can definitely see the streaks in the photo below. (And don't be fooled by the soft yellow you see in the photo below. You could land planes with this polish.) Lastly, this polish is a pain to remove. If you don't make sure to remove it carefully, you will look like you were involved in a highlighter tragedy.

Final Verdict: Despite the streaky formula, Orly's "Glowstick" is still a fun neon color. If you really want this fluorescent yellow highlighter polish, many other brands have similar colors. I would recommend checking into those first before getting this one.
